Flight Adventure: How to find last minute cheap tickets to a random airport at the destination?

My (stunningly beautiful and kind) friend and I have an adventure in mind: to go to JFK or LGA and pick a flight to a random destination for the same day without prior planning. What is the best way to purchase a last minute ticket without regard to final destination?

Would we have a better chance getting a good deal by going to JFK or instead LGA?

Any possible websites to use or recommendations on airlines would be helpful.

  1. I prefer booking of tickets in advance over last minute deal. You can be sure about your tickets if you have booked your air tickets well in advance. I always used to book my cheap flight tickets before 25-30 days of my trip. It gives me a big relief and savings.

  2. You’d better use consolidators airline services. Consolidators work through contracts with major carriers to manage blocks of airline seat inventory at reduced prices Which they then sell. Fares through consolidators will be lower than published rates available from the airlines themselves. For example http://www. travel papa. com /

  3. A last minute flight is not cheap so be prepared to pay premium! You Asked Which airport would have the better deals well, at last minute it’s probably not going to make much difference so try both. Here are some websites to check: www. TripAdvisor. com, www. priceline. com, www. expedia. com, www. hotwire. com, www. Orbit. com, www. travelocity. com, www. kayak. com, and www. priceline. com.

  4. You can go to http://www. Airfarewatchdog. com to see what specials there are either out of LGA or JFK but last minute travel is always expensive. I suggest you do some planning and buy your tickets at least 14 days in advance. Both airports have a number of different discount airlines serving.

  5. I tried this because they had a special they announced on the radio. The problem with a lot of the ‘deals’ is they are one way. The flight back waay cost us more than it would have to plan ahead of time. Its really hard to find a last minute ticket for cheap. Dont forget – if you end up somewhere with no vacancies hoel close by you could end up paying a lot for transportation to a hotel.

  6. Do not exist “last-minute cheap tickets.” While the idea of ??showing up at the airport ticketless and picking a random destination sounds thrilling, it will cost you a fortune. As for JFK or LGA Whether is cheaper, that all depends on the airline you want to fly with. JFK is a major airport, LGA but also serves as a hub for other airlines. I usually start looking at tickets for a destination six months in advance. I get an idea of ??what a ticket costs, and keep an eye out for a lower price. Sometime between 1and 3 tickets months before my flight, I buy a. I usually start at Kayak (http://www. Kayak. Com). It? Sat search website that checks various other websites, such as Orbitz and CheapTickets. It will list all of the airlines that fly the route you want, with the exception of some discount airlines (most notably Southwest).

  7. wait at the airport and just hope that someone does not come to the flight. . you could offer the plan to buy the ticket ahahaha
