When I click on any of the results on my google search using Internet Explorer, I get directed to a random website. Interestingly, I can google using other browsers Safari, Opera, Google Chrome without any problem. Looks like unwanted software that has attached itself to Internet Explorer.

I have the Dell Wireless WLAN Card with 54 Mbps speed and Windows Vista. In hotels I sometimes cannot pick up a strong enough signal to surf freely. I have no place made to attach an external antenna. Do I have any other choices without spending a fortune? Serious answers only please.
