My Linux server is in the USA. I’m in Canada. I want to use my Linux server as a proxy to be “detected” as coming from the USA when I surf the web. Thank you for your help! It would be nice to have a step-by-step how-to.

I got the free godaddy hosting for my domain i purchased with them. I made a mistake by choosing Windows as its operating system server, and now I want Linux. Is there a way I can change it to Linux without getting a new host etc?Thanks!

I am new to Linux, so I would like to do it with a GUI if possible. I don’t know much about command line. Do you have to change anything on the server side, or just on the linux machine? By the way, I am using Ubuntu.
